Kyle Larson causes huge Michigan wreck to throw NASCAR Playoffs standings into chao

Kyle Larson caused a huge wreck at the FireKeepers Casino 400 on Monday, with Bubba Wallace, Christopher Bell and Chris Buescher among the drivers caught in the chaos.

Kyle Busch went on to win the second stage of the race - his first stage win of the season - with William Byron in the lead ahead of Ty Gibbs with 67 laps to go.

Larson, who leads the NASCAR standings, was forced to retire from the race after the collision.

Todd Gilland and Bell's races were also over as a result of the crash, while Wallace and Buescher are running in 25th and 26th place respectively after the incident.

It has been an eventful race so far in Brooklyn, with Joey Logano also retiring after a tire became detached from his car.

And after Larson's spin caused havoc on track, Corey Lajoie's race was over soon after,

with his No. 7 Chevrolet flipping upside down and sliding along the asphalt in a separate incident - which he was fortunate to walk away from unhurt.

Larson lost the back end of his No. 5 Chevrolet as he made a turn and spun sideways, tagging numerous cars

before his Hendrick Motorsports car clipped the wall and came to rest on the grass on the inside of the circuit.
