Definition of Dynamic Memory

A system for arranging various data kinds in the phone’s memory. Additionally known as shared memory.

Dynamic memory eliminates the need for separate memory for things like images and ringtones by storing all data in one location.

Dynamic memory has a benefit over partitioned memory in that it is more adaptable. For example, if you fill up the photo memory, you won’t be able to capture any more pictures even while other forms of memory are still available.
